A long time ago, in the other corner of the world In the desert, during the night Three kings met a new infant But it happened a long time ago It doesn't make any difference for us these days Yes, it makes a big different for us, today Because the actions of the ancients become our traditions But it happened in the other corner of the world It doesn't make any difference for us Yes, it makes a big difference for us, here Because the actions of the ancients in that place become the Epiphany around the world But it happened in the desert It doesn't make any difference for us, outside the desert Yes, it makes a big difference for us, where the weather is nice Because the actions of some ancients touch all humanity. But it happened during the night It doesn't make any difference for us under a big sun Yes, it makes a big difference for us, here Because the star above the ancients becomes our sun But it happened amongst the kings It doesn't make any difference for us, the ordinary Yes, it makes a big difference for us, you and me Because, like the kings learn from an infant, the simplest is the most profound But it happened because of the birth of an infant It doesn't make any difference for us, the adults Yes, it makes a big difference for us Because wisdom is not something from living but rather from believing |
