Imagination
| What do you see when you look up in the sky?
Astronomy is a science, like math or physics.
Science, unlike art, has only one "right" answer. When I think of things that only have one "right" answer, I think of limits. When I look up in the sky, I don't see limits - I see the unlimited. When I asked my mentally handicapped friends what they see when they look up in the sky, here's what they shared: "I do see lots of stars in the night sky... I think that the stars are pretty and shiny in the night sky. I like looking up at the stars at night in the night sky." "When I look up in the sky I see animals up in the sky. We see people in the stars." Maybe you're like the person who sees stars or like the person who sees animals or people. hatever you see, don't you believe there really is no "right" answer? What each of us sees is what is real to each of us; it's the "right" answer to us. Look up in the sky. It's your imagination you see. |
